Is That Ed Westwick Working the Runway During Milan Fashion Week?

Milan Fashion Week is the time for designers to showcase both what gents will be wearing come the next season and which male models will be rocking the ad campaign circuits. That’s why a lot of us were a little caught off guard when we saw a familiar face walking down the runway — it was ‘Gossip Girl’ star Ed Westwick.

The well-known men’s style icon modeled two looks from designer Philipp Plein’s spring/summer 2013 collection — one centered around an edgier letterman-type jacket and the other around a cool and collected blue suiting blazer.

It seems like Westwick has always been the fashionisto we all know him as today, which is why it looked like a natural step in his career to star in Plein’s campaign shot by photography and ladies man Terry Richardson. Matthew McConaughey, Kellan Lutz and Chris Evans have all done it, but Westwick is one of few who decide to take their modeling to the runway.
